Umrah - At Maulida Rasulallah

I’d bet that most of Moslems of this World are expecting to visit the Holy city “Mecca al Mukaromah” even “Meddina al Munawaroh”, as happened to me & Hilmi as well.

Those cities are chanted in our dreams, our mind, not to mentions our spirit also.
But I’ve never dreamt that I will come there earlier than I’ve ever thought.

Suddenly ALLAH with the unreasonable doubt, gives us that chance.

Day 1 - Departure

At 20 April 2005, Thursday, 15.00 Indonesia local time/WIB
Hilmi, Daffa and me goes there (I did avoid “went”)

We were actually having a late schedule. For having high demand, our travel bureau (Tazkia) has to change its flight schedule from 18 to 20.

Since we’re from a big fams moreover we also bring the GOD Mother (enyak) & Father (abe) along with us, just imagine how many person are there in the airport – Not to mention my mother’s big band.

Don’t ask me how sad I am leaving my little charm (Alfin) …
I burst my tears when hugging him at the last minutes,
At one second I thought that I am so cruel to leave him at his age (9 month)
But then my families amuse and relieve me that they will keep and take care of him.

Note:
We fly with Garuda Indonesia
Time difference between Jeddah-Jakarta is 4 hours ahead.
The journey takes 9 hours to go.

Day 2 - Arrival

We arrived to Jeddah – King Abdul Azis Airport
At 24.00 WIB or 8 pm Saudia Time (ST).

It was so easy when handling our things, but when we drive in the bus (named Palidari and the other George Bonte), it takes a very long migration process (about 2 hours)
